The answer was: Snaketown (Hohokam Pima National Monument)
Snaketown was a major prehistoric Hohokam village near Sacaton, Arizona, inhabited from around 300 to 1200 CE. The settlement was abandoned around 1100 CE, likely due to environmental changes, but it remains one of the most important sites for understanding the ancient Hohokam, and evidence of far-reaching trade with Mesoamerica.
